Project Description
The U.S. 50/400 expansion in Finney and Gray counties involves four projects, divided into western and eastern groups, spanning from Aerodrome Road in Finney County to Cimarron. The western group extends from Aerodrome Road to 7 Road in Gray County, while the eastern group extends from 7 Road to Cimarron.
Selected for the IKE Development Pipeline in 2020 and the IKE Construction Pipeline in 2023, these projects aim to create a four-lane connection between Garden City and Dodge City, enhancing safety, mobility, and regional economic growth. Additionally, two projects from the previous T-WORKS Program, located between Cimarron and Dodge City, have already begun construction.
