KDOT held a public meeting for U.S. 50/400 expansion projects. The meeting was from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16 at the Gray County Recreation Center’s 4H Room (17002 W. Highway 50) in Cimarron. A brief presentation was given at 5:45 p.m. followed by an opportunity to view updated proposed improvements since the Nov. 2022 open house. The projects are nearing completion of the preliminary design phase, focusing on locations where the highway intersects local streets. Intersection improvements to enhance safety will be shared. The public was invited to submit comments beginning Nov. 16 thru Nov. 30.
