KDOT hosted an open house style public meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Trail Room at the Chisholm Trail Center (601 SE 36th Street, Suite 143, Newton, KS 67114). The public was invited to stop by any time between 4–6 p.m. to view details of the proposed improvements, speak with project staff and provide comments. There was no formal presentation.
