The Carbon Reduction Program (CRP) funds projects designed to reduce transportation-related carbon emissions such as alternative fuel vehicles and public transit. The program includes development and implementation of a carbon reduction strategy called the Transportation Emissions Reduction Strategy.

• Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs)

 Eligible Uses

• Deployment of alternative fuel vehicles
• Bicycle and pedestrian or other non-motorized transportation facilities
• Public transit
• Establish or operate a traffic monitoring & management program or facility
• Projects designed to reduce environmental and community impacts of freight movement
