Weirich celebrates 30 years of service at KDOT

David Weirich, AASHTOWare Project Construction Analyst in the Bureau of Construction and Materials, has achieved a career milestone and is celebrating 30 years of valued service to the State of Kansas.

Weirich began working for the Kansas Department of Transportation in 1991 in the Garnett office as an Engineering Technician II. After advancements over the years to Engineering Technician Specialist, he was promoted to his current position at the Headquarters office in Topeka.

He provides technical help to employees who use the CMS system and the new AASHTOWare Project Construction system, which is used for all KDOT construction contracts.

Weirich and his wife, Dawn, have three children and reside in Garnett.
