The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place Oct. 19, 2022, in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

Osage - 70 TE-0481-01 – Missouri Pacific Railroad right of way, from the west city limits to 5th Street, south to Holliday Street, east to 8th Street, north to Lakin Street, east to 9th Street, north to Missouri Pacific Railroad right of way, and east to the east city limits in Osage City, pedestrian and bicycle paths, 2.5 miles, Bettis Asphalt & Construction Inc., Topeka, Kansas, $1,847,358.60.
