A 17-mile resurfacing has started on K-2 in Harper County.
The Kansas Department of Transportation project includes a milling and recycling of asphalt on K-2 from the Barber/Harper county line east to the west city limits of Anthony.
During the work, expected to be completed around Aug. 11, traffic will be controlled by flaggers and a pilot car. Motorists should expect to slow down and stop and face delays of up to 15 minutes.
Dustrol Inc., of Towanda, is the primary contractor for the $1,905,062 project.
