Beginning Monday, Mar. 15, the Kansas Department of Transportation will begin a crack seal operation on K-128 in Jewell and Mitchell counties. Work on K-128 will begin at U.S. 24 and continue north through Ionia to the Nebraska state line.
A pilot car will direct one lane of traffic through construction. Drivers should be prepared for a delay of up to 15 minutes and plan extra time in their travel schedules.
Pavement Pros of McPherson is the prime contractor and have scheduled this project to be completed by Apr. 5, weather permitting, at a cost of $230,980.
