Post Date:03/15/2021

Garver Engineering will begin surveying and staking recently purchased right of way on U.S. 50 in Ford and Gray counties on March 22, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.

The area being surveyed and marked includes U.S. 50 from the west city limit of Dodge City to the east city limit of Cimarron. Work is expected to be completed by April 1, weather permitting.

A member of the survey crew first will contact property owners and/or tenants for permission to enter private property. Survey activities will include the use of survey instruments on the ground to determine KDOT right of way within the survey corridor.
