Traffic changes at Moundridge for I-135 pavement replacement

Post Date:06/15/2023

During the week ending June 24, the Kansas Department of Transportation will reopen northbound exit 46 and close southbound exit 46 into Moundridge as work progresses to replace the pavement on I-135 in McPherson County.

Median crossovers are being used to carry traffic through construction in a head-to-head configuration at a reduced speed.

Koss Construction Co. of Topeka is the prime contractor and has scheduled this $19 million project to be completed in November, weather permitting.

KDOT urges all motorists to be alert and obey the warning signs when approaching and driving through a highway work zone. To stay aware of all road construction projects across Kansas, go to www.kandrive.gov or call 5-1-1.
