Resurfacing will begin soon on U.S. 400 in Kiowa County.
he Kansas Department of Transportation project involves a milling and hot-mix-asphalt overlay on U.S. 400 from the Kiowa/Ford county line to the east junction of U.S. 54/400. The length is 6.3 miles.
The work is expected to start around Monday, May 6, and be completed around May 24.
During the work, traffic will be controlled by flaggers and a pilot car, and motorists should expect delays of up to 15 minutes.
Venture Corp., of Great Bend, is the primary contractor for the $1,682,075 project.
