Gayle Donaldson has been named the Public Relations Bureau Chief for the Kansas Department of Transportation. She started her new role on Sept. 16.

Donaldson previously worked for the Kansas Board of Pharmacy where she led the Kansas prescription drug monitoring program. She also has served in a variety of marketing and communications roles in local government and healthcare in northeast Kansas

“I enjoy public engagement and am looking forward to enhancing KDOT’s community outreach efforts as we continue to implement the IKE plan and serve the agency’s needs,” she said.

Donaldson has a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Fort Hays State University and Master of Business Administration from Baker University. She lives in Topeka with her husband.
